McDonald’s Gives A New Spin To Its Iconic ‘I’m Lovin’ It’ Tagline

McDonald’s has given a new spin to its long-time “I’m lovin’ it” slogan by placing more emphasis on the word “lovin’”.



In its animated spot, titled ‘Archenemies’, pop culture characters are seen showing love to their foes—Batman and The Joker; Coyote and Road Runner; Pacman and Ghost; and Dorothy and the Wicked Witch of the West, are some pairings featured in the fun ad, by Leo Burnett.



McDonald’s said in a statement, “We recognize, and our customers do too, all the negativity that surrounds daily life and we are choosing to celebrate lovin’ more. McDonald’s is in a unique position to use its scale to bring back the positivity with more uplifting content and conversations in the lovin’ spirit.”



The brand campaign also includes new uniforms, packaging, restaurant signage and increased social media responsiveness.



“Each day, we hope to do our part to put just a little more lovin’ in the world because a little more lovin’ can change a lot,” the fast food brand said.
