A year after successfully funding their smartphone lenses, Moment is back on Kickstarter to raise money for their new product, an iPhone case that they claim is the “world’s best for mobile photography”.
The Moment case is designed to bring some of the best features of traditional cameras to your phone—it comes with a shutter button, lens and camera strap.
One of the standout features of the case is a half/full press function on its tactile shutter button that are usually found on traditional cameras, which could be used together with on-screen touch features to unlock advanced controls—the fact that you can attach the lens to the case with a “quick twist” also make using it a lot more convenient.
The case is accompanied by an app that has been built from scratch by the Moment team—this customizable app senses when the lens has been attached, and optimised the pictures taken.
