Your Smartphone Can Now Take ‘Analog’ Photos That Need Days To Process

If you miss the time when photography is an activity of delay gratification where you won’t see the captured images for days or even weeks, new app WhiteAlbum would be able to recreate that experience for you.

When you take a picture with this app, you would not be able to retake or edit the shot—and you would have to wait for the printed copies of the pictures to be shipped to you before you can review them.

According to its creators, “its like a disposable camera, only better”—the only controls on the app is one for the flash and another for toggling between the round and square formats.

Once 24 photographs have been captured, you can have them delivered to you for US$20.

You can download WhiteAlbum for free from the App Store.
