Scotland Tries To Attract Tourism With Cuteness, Dresses Ponies In Cardigans

If there is anything cuter than ponies, it will have to be ponies dressed in knitwear.

To celebrate the launch of the Year of Natural Scotland in 2013, the Visit Scotland website has released a series of adorable pictures that features a pair of Shetland ponies—Fivla and Vitamin—wearing printed cardigans.

Set against the stunning Scottish landscape, the images cleverly bring together the country’s nature, natives (i.e. the ponies) and heritage products (i.e. the cardigans, which are custom-crafted out of Shetland wool).

"With Shetland wool and knitwear being so in demand, it seemed like a fun way to celebrate Shetland's natural landscapes, products and heritage.”
