Venice As Seen In Watery Reflections

Photographing Venice, Italy seems cliché.

Berlin-based German photographer Jessica Backhaus, however, takes a different approach for her photography series.

In ‘I Wanted to See the World’, she aims her camera downwards, and uses the water in the canal-laden city to capture the location in distortions and reflections—subtly portraying the ‘City of Water’ in its element.
