New York-based artist Ben Rubin has created an installation that scans news and projects of hot topics onto a building.
Titled ‘And That’s The Way It Is’, the media installation explores the idea of media inundation.
Random impactful words slowly culminate into random associations, connecting from politics to jobs and places.
The installation could be seen as a simple abstraction of news –creating a kind of grand meta statement on the news itself—or, it could be seen as a distilled version of things that matter to us at that moment.
