Graphic design legend Milton Glaser recently unveiled his poster for Mad Men’s final season. Now, in a collaboration with The New York Times, Glaser critiques the look of craft beer packaging designs.
Glaser, who created the identity for the Brooklyn Brewery, stated his approach to designing beer labels before moving on to critiquing each one—he thinks that the look for Evil Twin Brewing Hipster Ale is reminiscent of the identity he did for Mad Men, and that the design elements of Sixpoint Beer “aren’t really working”.
Head on over to the The New York Times to read about his opinions—do you think his observations are spot-on?
