UNICEF’s Tap Project is a new campaign by UNICEF that challenges people to put their phones aside for a moment, in exchange for a clean water donation.
The campaign stems from the truth that our generation cannot go for even a few minutes without checking our cell phones.
This has some parallels with clean water, because we cannot go for days without safe drinking water.
Thus, this project calls for participation from users. All they have to do is to log on to uniceftapproject.org, press ‘Begin’, and keep your phone facing down.
Donations from sponsors will automatically be credited to UNICEF, and after your participation, you can even make a donation if you would like.
