Art director and commercial filmmaker Kamel Gondry has come up with a project that mixes highbrow with the lowbrow—he imagines what the poster ads for luxury brands would be like if they designed skateboards.
Gondry’s versatility shines through in this series as he is able to capture the look and feel of each brand—the man in the poster for Chanel exudes a brooding air, while the poster for Hermès has a light and airy feel.
