After Apple designer Susan Kare’s words of wisdom for young designers, Fast Company has another useful article that highlights how five well-known designers from leading design firms deal with difficult clients.



Featuring Pentagram’s Paula Scher and Jesse Reed, and Jessica Walsh of Sagmeister and Walsh, their advice includes shifting the focus to the goal, using reasoning, and perhaps the best advice of all from Walsh—telling clients straight up that their idea is bad.
