Dubai-based photographer Daniel Cheong takes breathtaking images of the city’s towering skyscrapers covered in fog.
For his set ‘Dubai Fog’, he captures dreamy, atmospheric shots of gleaming buildings engulfed in swirling fog, conjuring up images of a city within the clouds.
Using a technique called Digital Blending, Cheong manually blends several multiple exposure scenes to achieve the “maximum dynamic range” for his photographs. The result is natural-looking images that give off a slightly surreal effect.
The self-described “rooftopper” loves to shoot from the top of tall buildings as he is fascinated by their unique vantage point.
