US illustrator Adam Thompson has created a series of posters featuring popular comic book characters, paired with their inspiring and empowering quotes that would help start the new year on a good note.
His project, titled ‘Heroic Words of Wisdom’, re-purposed the artwork of Jim Lee, Francis Manapul, and other artists, along with his, adding his trademark minimalistic style into the posters.
Adam embarked on this project when he was inspired by the oath sworn by Green Lantern to stand against evil. He realized that the dialogs of other comic heroes could be applicable to real life too.
