How Design Principles Can Be Used In Life To Help You Fail Better, Live Better

Vince Frost, former Pentagram designer and founder of Frost*Collective, has recently launched a new book titled Design Your Life—in it, he details how one could apply design principles to life so as to “work better at living better”.

After working with many clients to identify problems and find solutions, Frost realises the same ideas that he uses in his professional life could be used in his personal life—according to him, he actually “hired himself to help himself live better by living smarter”.

Featuring creative typography and attractive graphics, this book teaches you how not to give up, be fulfilled and say yes even if you are not sure how to do the work, among other inspiring tips—there is even an entire chapter on what you can learn from your negative experiences and “fail better” as a result.

Design Your Life, together with a collection of related art prints, is available for purchase here—do you think that design thinking can be successfully applied to personal life?
