By now, we are quite used to integrating our software across different devices, but can you imagine combining the physical hardware of these devices into one?
That is exactly what industrial design student Cristian Tomas Moyano has tried to do with the “Apple lightMac”, which is a concept of an Apple device that has the “power of the iMac”, the “portability of the Macbook”, the “UX of the iPad” and the “shape of the Mac Mini”.
The lightMac consists of a central module and external modules—using them together would give the user more powerful processing potential, storage capacity and battery life, while using the external modules alone would offer the experience of a touchscreen tablet with an adjustable display that can become bigger or smaller as desired.
Find out more about how the lightMac would work over here—would you like to own it if it ever becomes a reality?
