If you love the convenience of a digital note but still want to retain the warm human touch of a hand-written one, then New York City-based messaging service Bond may be just what you need.

The team at Bond has developed robots that could do “whatever a human being can do with a pen”—this means that they would be able to produce a letter, card or note that looks just like it has been handwritten.

Instead of printing out the words, these robots actually holds on to a pen and write them out just like a person would do—the result is an incredibly authentic-looking “handwritten” document.

To use this service, simply type in your message on your computer or mobile device, state the address of the recipient and click send. You can choose from a selection of available handwriting styles or create one that is based on your own hand-writing.

Find out more about Bond and their robots in the video below—would you use this service, or do you still prefer to put pen to paper?
