You won't need to wire up a replacement outlet just to add a USB charging port anymore.
The team at Snap Power LLC has come up with the ‘SnapPower Charger’, a replacement cover that adds a USB port for charging all your devices.
The best part is that no additional wiring is needed as the replacement cover plate has a pair of metal prongs that reach around an existing outlet to make contact with the screws holding its electric wiring in place. Once you snap the cover plate on and secure it, the USB port has instant power and is ready for use.
