This project on Indiegogo is approaching its final ten hours to raise sufficient funds to organize three, four-day ‘College of Wizardry’ events in November.
Spearheaded by a group of volunteers from the non-profit organizations Liveform in Poland and Rollespilsfabrikken in Denmark, the project will utilize the Czocha Castle in Poland to hold the LARP (live-action role-playing) experiences.
Throughout their time at the castle, participants will be able to fulfill their dreams of becoming a young witch or wizard enrolled in a school for sorcery.
In addition to attending magical arts classes, attendees will be given the opportunity to represent one of five ancient houses of the castle and explore the castle grounds.
What you won’t find at the events though are elements characteristic of the Harry Potter franchise. This experience has been created independent of the famous book series, so no Quidditch, Muggles or Hogwarts.
