Striking 3D Neon Lights Map Out Subway Lines From Around The World
London
Working with flex neon for a school project, Petr Kollarčík, a Plzeň, Czech Republic-based graphic design student, has created a striking series of 3D lights that show subway maps of several major cities around the world.
Building on his love for subway maps based on Harry Beck’s iconic London underground map, Kollarčík has included the illuminated outlines of the subway maps of London, Berlin, New York, Paris, Madrid, Seoul and Tokyo in his project.
Each city’s flex neon map comes in its own unique color, forming an electrifying rainbow when placed together. Just imagine mounting one of these statement pieces on the walls of your home!
