'Facewash' App Removes Vulgarities From Your Facebook Wal

With the launch of Facebook’s Graph Search, it is now much easier for people to find out about you online—and some of the things they discover may make you look bad.

If you are concerned that those vulgarity-peppered status updates may make you appear less professional to current or potential employers, there is now an app—“Facewash”—that can help to scrub your Facebook record clean.

After scanning your Facebook wall for offending materials, Facewash will surface them to you—you may then decide on the follow-up actions, whether it is to change your privacy settings or simply to delete them.

However, as Facewash is only able to scan textual content, inappropriate pictures will still be able to slip it by—to be on the safe side, you may want to go through the photographs manually.
