We chanced upon an ongoing series of illustrations by Canadian illustrator Rosemary Travale, in which she reimagined J.R.R. Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit’ as a nostalgia-inducing ‘Little Golden Book’.
Inspired by the recent ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ movie, Travale created these charming illustrations by painting with acryla gouache on watercolor paper—the book cover, on the other hand, was edited with photoshop.
