Twitter CEO Dick Costolo has just sent out a tweet that hints that Vine—a video-sharing start-up Twitter acquired last year—is ready to be launched.
A fun tool for recording and sharing short clips of no longer than six seconds, app users can potentially create straight-take videos, digital montages or even flip-books made up of several very quick takes.
According to insiders, Vine may be available as a standalone iOS app on Apple’s App as soon as tomorrow—if you want to know exactly when the app will go live, you may want to follow its Twitter account for updates.
