An Awesome LEGO Letterpress That Prints A Playful Dotted Font

Aberdeen-based Scottish designer, illustrator and print-maker Levi has created an innovative LEGO letterpress that prints out a unique and playful dotted font.

While experimenting with different forms of printing, he started introducing new elements into his printing process—he soon swopped wood blocks for LEGO blocks and the LEGO letterpress was born.

Acting as plastic pixels, the versatile LEGO bricks could be arranged to form the various letters and symbols in the alphabet—using the protruding nodes on the bricks surface, Levi is able to produce an original font made up of tiny round dots.
