Boston-based cartoonist Mike Rosenthal finds Twitter to be a brilliant inspirational source and have started a Tumblr blog—“Twitter: The Comic”—to document his hilarious tweet-based comics.
After scouring the social networking site for suitably funny tweets and quotes, he adapts these funny 140-character updates into four-panel comics.
The simple idea of illustrating amusing tweets has turned out to be comedy gold—his drawings are diverse and deals with both everyday moments and surreal scenes from the rich imagination of Twitter’s users.
