With Christopher Nolan’s film ‘The Man of Steel’ due in cinemas in a couple of weeks, 8Ball.co.uk has created an infographic that looks back at the history of Superman.
Created in the 1930s, Superman aka Clark Kent was originally created as a villain who used his powers to for evil—thankfully, he was soon changed into a superhero.
The infographic points out that Superman receives his power from the sun—which gives him super-fast reflexes, strength, heat vision and many more—and without the sun, he will actually be powerless.
It also revealed how his iconic ‘S’ logo was not just a symbol, but also representation of the word ‘hope’ in his home planet of Krypton.
