UK-based artist and illustrator Jacob Everett’s signature work is creating large scale black and white portraits with just biro brand ballpoint pens.
He draws beautiful portraits of all people--from well-known popular culture personalities such as Jay-Z or Larry David, to homeless men on the street.
Everett’s unique art explores every intricate contour of a human face. Similar to digital images, his work is assembled with thousands of tiny pixel-like dots that form individual characters with personal stories.
His careful art technique of overlapping elliptical marks reveal Everett to be a great artist who manages to capture subtle nuances of human expressions that cannot be explained in words.
