There are tons of artists and creatives around the world, and only so many opportunities for them to showcase their works. Enter ‘The Sketchbook Project’: “a global, crowd-sourced art project and interactive, traveling exhibition of handmade books”.

‘The Sketchbook Tour’ truck acts as a mobile library, housing a collection of almost 30,000 sketchbooks sent in by creatives around the world. The truck travels to 40 over cities in North America over the span of a year, parking at various events and locations where anyone can hop on to browse through a mish-mash of wonderful art.

The Mobile Library is affiliated with The Brooklyn Art Library, where all submitted works are collected, and The Digital Library, a catalogue of digitalized sketchbooks. Find out more about the project, and how you can participate.
