Many of the world’s most legendary musicians were stolen away by death during the prime of their lives—for instance, the famous “27 Club” of music stars who died at age 27.
To give us a glimpse of an alternative reality, Sachs Media Group—in collaboration with photo restoration firm Phojoe—has created a collection of manipulated pictures that shows how these long-dead musicians would look if they were still alive now.
From Kurt Cobain and John Lennon to Janis Joplin and Karen Carpenter, these photographs show us elderly versions of these well-known personalities that they did not live long enough to become.
