Meet 31-year-old Thomas Cantley. He’s currently on a mission to push a giant inflatable ball across the US, in an attempt to raise awareness for testicular cancer.
Cantley—who ironically calls himself ‘Ballsy’—was diagnosed with the disease in 2009 and left him with only one testicle. After he recovered, he decided to spread awareness and help educate others on the disease.
In an interview with Men’s Health, he said that cancer was his “rebirth” and that he needed “to be infectious” and to “create attention”.
Thus, he embarked on his epic journey last month—his goal is to push a giant, inflatable 6-foot ball from California to New York, coast to coast.
Calling the project ‘Ball Push’, he’s currently in New Orleans—having traveled over 2,100 miles. He previously completed a similar challenge last year, where he pushed his giant ball across Canada, from Toronto to Vancouver.

Yesterday, we featured a new social media campaign called #FeelingNuts, where it encourages men to take pictures of themselves grabbing their crotch. The act is to encourage men to check their testicles regularly for abnormalities.
