According to Vocativ’s 2014 Livability Index, New York City ranks number one in the list—along with other cities from Texas that made it into the top 10 US cities to live in.
Indicators such as the diversity of the city—in terms of both ethnic and LGBTQ populations—fair weather, and accessibility were some of the categories factored into this year’s ranking methodology.
