Ever had that moment where you found a camera too complicated to operate?
Photographer and entrepreneur Gary Fong is here to help with his series of online tutorials, where individuals can learn to operate new cameras through the virtual ones on his website.
Two Sony models—the A6000 and A7ii—kicked off the interactive series, where elements on the virtual camera’s interface can be clicked. A video will then be launched upon clicking, giving you the lowdown of the chosen feature.
Fong told PetaPixel that tutorials for Canon 7D Mark II and Nikon D7100 are in the works. He said, “We will be focusing on new cameras and not working backwards at least initially.”
The virtual lessons are priced at US$13 each, giving you full access to the virtual camera interactive lessons. A continuous two-hour-long video on “the hows and whys behind every setting and feature”, the basics and the setup, are also available.
