How do you create an infographic?
German photographer Marion Luttenberger shows that physical, everyday things and scenarios can represent information and data.
Commissioned by Caritas Kontakladen, an Austrian organization that provides support to drug addicts, Luttenberger creatively depicted the statistics in a myriad of ways—for instance, gum stuck to shoes represented the number of individuals with infectious diseases, while hair length depicted the percentage of people who are addicted to a particular substance.
