With the big technology companies racing to create their own version of the smartwatch, there has been a lot of talk about wearable technology in recent months—and some of the discussion centers around how geeky-looking and unfashionable the typical smartwatch look.
Based in Atlanta, Leslie and Margaux has created MEMI, an alternative to the bulky smartwatch in the form of a sleek silver bracelet that stylish women would actually want to wear.
Featuring no screen, the MEMI also does not make any sound—it simply vibrates to alert its wearer to important phone calls and messages, or a calendar reminder about an upcoming event.
Allowing busy women to unplug from their devices without disconnecting completely, the MEMI bracelet would fit into everyday, fashionable outfits with its minimalist good looks.
Proving that there is no need to compromise style for function, this smart-bracelet is now campaigning for funds on Kickstarter—find out more about it here.
