Street Art Murals Tell Sad Tales Of The Homeless To Highlight Their Plight

Mural by Best Ever

Following up on its previous campaign last year that used profits from the sale of cardboard boxes to house the homeless, charity Depaul UK teamed up again with Publicis London to raise awareness of their plight through street art murals.

Located in Dalston and Shoreditch in East London, each mural tells a sad tale of how a young homeless person ended up in their situation. They were created by artists Ben Slow, David Shillinglaw, Best Ever, Josh Jeavons and Jim McElvaney, who did them for free.

Each artwork has a URL streetstories.org.uk that leads viewers to a website where they can find out more about the campaign, and purchase signed limited edition prints of the murals. Each print costs £80 and all proceeds will go towards Depaul UK.

As each print is sold, a section of the mural on the website will be erased.

Visit the the Street Stories website to learn more about this worthy cause.
