Vancouver-based photographer
Elizabeth Gadd takes stunning photographs of landscapes that are sure to invoke wanderlust in you.
The self-taught 21-year-old grew up surrounded by majestic mountains, lakes and forests, and uses their awe-inspiring beauty as inspiration.
Evocative and visually arresting, her pictures often feature herself wandering amidst the vast oceans, waterfalls and fields.
Through her images, she hopes to “display human interaction with nature in a positive and peaceful way” and let others experience the emotions she felt when taking them.

Re-posting this image to let you all know I finally published my Iceland blog post, a rather diary-like read where I share the full Red Dress series, my reason behind it, all my other behind-the-scenes and travel photos, and stories from the great adventure (the good, the bad, and the rather humorous). The link to the blog is in my bio. :)

I keep thinking I've come to an end of my favourite photos from Iceland, and then I find another one in my pile of files... Woo!

Feeling nostalgic for this day back in March when I decided to freeze for a self-portrait at Alouette Lake. Hoping to get out shooting there again soon! What are you all up to this weekend? Any grand adventures happening?

I pretty much wanted to adopt every single Icelandic horse we encountered on our journey around the country. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I'd be better off if the horses adopted me instead. Yes... I don't think I'd mind wandering the epic landscapes with a herd of majestic horses for the rest of my life. It's settled then, I'm going back. :)
