Famed street artist Banksy has recently released a short video that revealed the location of his new artworks.
Footages from the video reportedly showed the elusive artist entering Gaza through “illegal tunnels” before showcasing the four new artworks that he created amidst the city’s rubbles and destroyed buildings.
Interestingly, his video was presented in a satirical fashion, resembling a “tourism” ad that featured various reasons why the city makes for a great “destination” for people to explore.
Banksy also wrote about the locals’ reaction to his artworks on his website: “A local man came up and said ‘Please - what does this mean?’ I explained I wanted to highlight the destruction in Gaza by posting photos on my website-but on the internet people only look at pictures of kittens.”
Check out his new artworks below.
