The Shining
Theodore Holmstead-Scott and Jude Deluca have put together a website that combines popular horror films with the iconic book series ‘Goosebumps’ by R.L. Stine.
Called ‘If It Were Stine’, they imagine what horror films like The Shining, The Evil Dead and Friday the 13th would look like if they were on the cover of ‘Goosebumps’ books.
“Whether it was the dripping neon slime, the terrifyingly gaudy cover illustrations or the sheer spine-tingling horror of the stories themselves – there’s no doubt that R.L. Stine’s classic series has shaped a generation of horror lovers,” wrote the creators.
“So what happens when the two worlds of horror collide? When the terror of The Exorcist or The Blair Witch Project meets the bad puns and outrageous titles of our beloved book series?...That’s where we come in.”
