Many go to the ballet to see graceful dancers pirouetting in splendid costumes on a big stage. But what if the dance is stripped down to its very basics?
David Gifford and Adrian Dalca created a time-lapse video of The Boston Ballet's rehearsal. They shot with GoPro cameras from two angles at varying speeds, recording the dancers streaming in to the studio, stretching, and dancing.
Titled 'A Day of Grace with Boston Ballet', the stunning video shows the raw beauty and repose of the dance form.
