After a decade since its last film appearance in 2004, popular animated cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants is returning to cinemas in a new 3D, CGI-animated movie, ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water’, which will be released in 2015.
In the trailer, SpongeBob and his friends are on a mission to save a stolen recipe from a pirate played by actor Antonio Banderas.
In order to save their world, they crossed over to the human world, transforming into superheroes in the process.
Judging from its first movie in 2004, you can probably expect plenty of cameos—rock legend Slash was featured in the trailer—in this upcoming flick.
