Industrial design student Jackson Gordon of Philadelphia University has created an epic Batman suit for the recent anime convention Katsucon, held in Maryland.
The entire suit was handmade, which was both aesthetically pleasing and functional—Gordon told USA Today that the suit can “withstand punches, machetes and baseball bats”, all of which have been tested on the suit.
The entire suit took him five months to complete, from handcrafting the plastic mask with a silicon mold, to stitching together the padded armor suit to make it look like the real costume.
