This windowless jet concept was created by Technicon Design specifically for the 2013 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) show.
Known as the IXION windowless jet, it uses external cameras to capture a 360-degree panoramic view of the exterior. The captured image is then adjusted and fitted for display for the display panels of the interior cabin walls, giving a complete illusion of looking outside of the airplane.
According to Gareth Davies, Design Director at Technicon’s French Studio, “The ethos of the project is simple, to challenge current thinking, and propose something a little different but not just a fantasy. It has to be credible and relevant, yet provoke discussion”
