Japanese photographer Sohei Nishino has created some stunning ‘Diorama Maps’ of famous cities around world by combining thousands of photographs of the city.
Nishino spends months in each city walking around and taking photographs using black and white film.
He then develops, prints and edits the photographs himself, before setting them against a gigantic sketch of the city’s layout.
The photographs are laid out according to his memory and experience of the city, and do not strictly adhere to a birds-eye view of the city.
