Recent Ravensbourne graduate Daryl Humphrey has created a simple packaging concept that lets users, especially elderly patients, retrieve pills from its usual blister packaging more easily.
In his packaging concept for Doxazosin, a prescribed medication for high blood pressure patients, the pill box opens via a perforated tab instead.
When opened, the box unfolds to reveal an information booklet attached on one side, while the pills are placed in a tray that is sealed with foil.
Users simply need to pull away the foil before “peeling off” the pills which are stuck to it.
What do you think of Humphrey’s simple concept?
