To celebrate National Cat Day which fell yesterday, ridesharing service Uber collaborated with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and website Cheezburger to deliver adorable cats to people’s doorstep.

Residents in seven US cities, including San Francisco, New York, and Austin got to enjoy this special feline service, which was available between noon and 4pm.

To use the service, they simply had to access the Uber app on their smartphone and select the “KITTENS” option. For US$30, they got to spend 15 minutes cuddling and playing with the cats, and all proceeds went towards local cat shelters.

Uber pulled the same stunt last year, which was met with overwhelming response.
