Havana to Washington
Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, whom we last heard singing David Bowie in space, has just released his new book featuring beautiful photographs of our planet taken during his time onboard the International Space Station.
Titled You Are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes, it contains breathtaking aerial shots of the cities, landscapes and oceans found on Earth, including places such as the Himalayas, Venice, and the Nile River.
They read like a visual essay with their amazing explosion of colors and textures, revealing a different perspective of Earth.
Majestic and sweeping, Hadfield’s photographs are at once humbling and awe-inspiring; a visual reminder of the stunning beauty of our planet.
