Cosplay, short for costume play, is considered a type of performance art where one dresses up as a character from a comic, film or video game. It is a fun hobby that everyone can engage in, as BuzzFeed staff Ryan Broderick found out at the recent New York Comic Con.
At the convention, Broderick picked out 29 cosplayers and asked them to reveal what their day jobs are, and it turned out that there were quite a few surprises.
