Los Angeles-based photographer Gray Malin has a series of fantastical photographs of multicolored sheep grazing the land.

The project is called ‘The Dream Series’, and it is a recreation of Malin’s imagination from when he first read about a Scottish sheep farmer coloring the fleece of his flock to ward off thieves.

To accomplish this, Malin had to work together with Australian sheep farmers to create a non-toxic vegetable dye that could be applied on the sheep.

Malin’s ‘Dream Series’ is currently on sale via his website. 20% of the proceeds from the sale of this series will be donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

According to Malin, "Bringing this body of work to life has been a dream-come-true for me; but the most important aspect of each image is to incite others to wander from the flock and pursue their own aspirations. To all of those who dream, believe in the impossible because I am proof, it is possible."

Malin was also previously featured on our site for his aerial photography of beaches around the world.
