Google has unveiled a new email app that not only turns your current Gmail inbox into a mobile-friendly, organized system, but it also gives you quick updates about your emails without making you click to view them.
Simply called ‘Inbox’, the email app sorts your inbox into categories that group similar types of emails together.
For instance, emails for receipts and bank statements will be grouped together in “Bundles” under its “Purchases” tab, while “Highlights” will show you the gist of important messages, such as flight itineraries and restaurant reservations.
You can also make reminders and to-do lists via “Assists” easily. If you need a quick break from reading your inbox, the “Snooze” function will come in handy.
