Data scientist Alice Zhao has compiled a series of charts and graphs that explores how text messages between her husband and her have changed from when they were dating to after being married for a year.
Alice noticed that they don’t say the word “love” that much anymore as compared to when they first started dating in 2008. She explained that “as a married couple, since we’re together all the time, we set up date nights and say sweet things to each other in person, so texting is mostly used to confirm logistics or share random thoughts”.
