Photographer Inserts ‘Star Wars’ Characters Into Black-And-White Images

Growing up, photographer Thomas Dagg’s childhood was all about Star Wars and he has fond memories of each and every Star Wars toy he ever owned.

As a tribute, Dagg took black-and-white portraits of real world environments and inserted Star Wars characters or objects into his photographs. According to him, this is a homage to the imaginary world he created when he was playing with his toys.

For example, Dagg used to imagine “a baseball bat into a glowing light saber ready to chop the ball into two clean-cut halves” or a star destroyer appearing in the clouds.
