Silhouettes Of Famous Architects Peeking From A Window Of Their Iconic Buildings

Architect and illustrator Federico Babina, who we featured recently, is back with more of his wonderful illustrations.

In his new series, ‘Archiwindows’, Babina literally cast the spotlight on 25 famous architects and studios, such as Zaha Hadid and Ray Eames, by featuring their silhouettes beneath a window from one of their iconic buildings.

Babina told Dezeen that the windows in his work are “like paintings framing narratives and stories”.

“I wanted to spy as a ‘voyeur’ the architectural life that is hidden behind a window, to observe the architects and their languages as observing from a keyhole,” said the Italian illustrator.

Check out a selection of Babina’s new work below, or head to his page to view the rest.
